What notes are in a Csus4 chord?

A Csus4 chord contains the notes C, F, G. It is built from the suspended 4th formula 1 - 4 - 5, with C as the root.

Why is Csus4 less common than Dsus4 or Asus4?

In open position the fourth (F) doesn't fall on a conveniently open or nearby string the way it does for D and A, so Csus4 needs a slightly more awkward fretting. It's perfectly usable — just not the effortless one-finger decoration those other two shapes are.
